2-PORT 2.5G POE ETHERNET CARD: High-performance PCIe 2.5Gbps network card with dual Intel I225-V chips; Leverage existing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling (or better) without the use of a Power over Ethernet injector; NBASE-T compatible (802.3bz); PCI Express 2.0 x2
POE+ COMPLIANT: Ethernet NIC provides up to 30W PSE and 25.5W PD per port at 48V DC to connected devices; Supports IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE+) to power remote devices such as access points, RFID readers, and IP cameras
IT MANAGEMENT: Intel vPro for remote management and troubleshooting; PXE boot enabled for centralized OS deployment and updates; 9K jumbo frame for reduced packet overhead; Remote system boot via WoL; VLAN support for efficient network management
BUILD QUALITY: LAN card features built-in heatsink to keep controller chips running cool and for optimal performance, LED indicators for link status/speed, and LAN transformers maintain signal quality and reduced EMI for reliable communication
COMPATIBILITY: 2.5GBASE-T variable speed options (2.5G/1G/100M/10M) with auto-negotiation; Multi-gigabit network interface card for PC is compatible with Windows, Windows Server, VMware, and Linux; Low profile bracket included for hardware compatibility
Add a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) 2.5Gbps Port to a PCI Express-enabled Computer
This 2.5 GbE network interface card (NIC) features dual Intel I225-V chipsets with Intel vPro technology to enhance performance and data integrity. The variable multispeed options (2.5/1Gbps and 100/10Mbps) enable support for both new and legacy network hardware. Utilize existing CAT5e or CAT6 cabling infrastructure while adding NBASE-T (802.3bz) compatibility for seamless integration.
Power Over Ethernet
The PCIe Ethernet card supports the IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at (Type 1 and Type 2) standards for Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) and can deliver up to 48V DC and 25.5W of power per port to compliant Powered Devices (PD). This flexibility eliminates the need for a separate power supplies or PoE injectors for remote networked devices such as IP cameras, access control devices, remote kiosks, and wireless access points.
Increased Network Speed
The PCIe network card leverages Intel vPro technology for remote management and troubleshooting capabilities. Improve bandwidth for data-intensive applications, network sharing, FTPs, online or local storage/backup, and the streaming of online content - while reducing network slowdowns. Access up to 2.5GBASE-T speeds using Cat5e (or better) cabling, to maximize existing networks and equipment.
Enhance Existing Hardware
The network interface card connects through an available PCI Express x2 2.0 (or higher) expansion slot. The card ships with a standard-profile bracket pre-installed and includes a low-profile bracket for installation into small form factor systems and servers. This ethernet NIC card is compatible with Windows, Windows Server, VMware, and Linux.
This card supports the following advanced features: PXE Boot, WoL, VLAN tagging, 9K jumbo frame, full-duplex, and Intel vPro technology.
