It is compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 & HDMI 4K@60Hz to support video resolutions up to Ultra HD (4K) as well as the accompanying digital audio up to 7.1 channel surround sound. It is also backward compatible with previous DisplayPort revisions 1.0/1.1 with support for resolutions up to 1080p. If your computer’s HDMI port is already in use, you can start multi-tasking by connecting a second HDMI display to an available DisplayPort port.
