Mini PC, small form factor or tower

Mini PCs mount behind a monitor or sit in a drawer and suit any role that is mostly browser, email and line-of-business applications. They are quiet and they free the desk. Small form factor machines add a proper expansion slot and better cooling in a case that still fits under a desk. Towers are the choice when you need multiple full-height graphics cards, several drives, or the headroom to upgrade in three years rather than replace.

Workstations and professional graphics

The HP Z2 range here ships with NVIDIA RTX professional graphics — RTX A400, A1000, RTX 2000 Ada and above — rather than gaming cards. The distinction matters if you run CAD, BIM, simulation or colour-critical work: professional cards carry ISV certification from vendors such as Autodesk, Dassault and Siemens, and their drivers are validated against those applications. A faster gaming card is not a substitute when a support contract depends on a certified configuration.

AI development desktops

The NVIDIA DGX Spark and ASUS Ascent GX10 in this range are Grace Blackwell desktop systems built for local model development — large unified memory in a machine that sits beside you rather than in a data centre. They are a specialist purchase and we are happy to talk through whether one fits what you are actually trying to do.
